Fire Mountain Shooting Range is an open-access shooting facility

Available for people to practice and to improve their shooting skills, and for groups to hold shooting competitions. Fire Mountain is available to all firearm users.

In 2010 the site was redeveloped. This redevelopment project was made possible through an agreement between the District of Kitimat and Alcan Anderson Creek Shooting Society. Funding was obtained from a Recreation Infrastructure Canada Grant, the District of Kitimat and Rio Tinto Alcan. Further assistance was provided by volunteers and West Fraser Eurocan.

Did You Know

Club membership enables you to apply for an Authorization to Transport (ATT) permit. An ATT permit will allow you to transport your restricted firearm to any approved shooting range in British Columbia.
